The world changes faster than our minds can update.
MindHug is a behavioural science organisation. Our training and experiential learning build psychological safety, practical skills and the behaviours that turn intention into lasting change.
Where we work
Three areas. One behavioural gap.
People often know what should happen. What they experience instead is a gap between intention and behaviour.
- Wellbeing
Feel Better
“I know what would help. I feel too stuck to do it.”
Burnout · Loneliness · Conflict · Rising absence · Psychological safety
- AI & Digital Security
Adapt Better
“We rolled out the tools. Some pushed back loudly, the rest quietly went back.”
AI adoption · AI workflows · AI fatigue · Cyber security · Social engineering
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Build Better
“I freeze every time I have to sell or ask.”
Selling & raising · Founder resilience · Employability · Innovation · Investment ready
We have helped universities, organisations, governments and entrepreneurs change behaviour where knowing was not enough.
What every training programme aims at
Two goals, in this order
Safety
Enough psychological and nervous-system safety to explore and try something different. Without it, nothing else is available.
Capability
The practical skills to act, plus the community and other resources that make capability broader than a single technique.
What our training and experiential learning feels like
If a psychologist met a mindfulness practitioner, met a game designer, and ran a hackathon together.
MindHug sessions combine psychology, sensory practice, play and real work. People practise new behaviours in the room rather than only hearing about them.

Why it matters
When behaviour stalls, the cost is not abstract.
It shows up as absence, conflict, presenteeism, low adoption, weak collaboration, poor decisions and ideas that never get tested.
US$10 trillion
The estimated global productivity cost of low employee engagement, about 9% of global GDP.
External benchmark. Gallup, State of the Global Workplace 2026 (2025 data).
About 5x
The average return associated with investment in workplace mental-health support.
External benchmark. Deloitte, Mental Health and Employers.
What we change
The changes we deliver.
The benefits our programmes are built to deliver, and that we measure on every engagement rather than claim in general.
People feel safer and stay well
Psychological safety and resilience, with less conflict and absence.
People adopt and use what has been introduced
AI tools, security behaviours, policies and new ways of working.
People act under uncertainty
Experimentation, innovation, employability and founder resilience.
Work improves
Better collaboration, better projects, stronger AI outputs and behaviour that lasts.

- Entrepreneurs
LSE Generate · British Council
- Problem
- Founders were making conservative decisions under uncertainty, and setbacks were landing as verdicts rather than information.
- What we did
- A 20+ hour neuroscience and psychology programme built around cognitive reframing, setback planning and structured experiments with real customers. A British Council supported project, with LSE as lead delivery partner.
- Result
- 100% reported increased psychological safety
- Governments
UK Government, DSIT
- Problem
- Participants had access to digital skills training and were not converting it into confidence or employment. Confidence, not knowledge, was the blocker.
- What we did
- A 28 hour programme combining behavioural work with technical content, plus 20 coaches trained to sustain it after delivery.
- Result
- 100% reported confidence in seeking employment
- Universities
LSE Summer School
- Problem
- International students arriving into an intense academic environment, under workload pressure, and not using the support available.
- What we did
- 8+ hours of neuroscience and psychology programmes and workshops, delivered annually from 2022 to 2024.
- Result
- 95% reported increased psychological safety
“We partnered with MindHug to deliver workshops as part of our Mental Health Awareness week and were impressed by the range of workshops and therapists available.”
How it works
Diagnose. Intervene. Measure.
There is more information than any mind can process, so it takes shortcuts and, under uncertainty, protects rather than acts. Understanding alone rarely changes those expectations. Safe, relevant experience can.
- Step 1
Diagnose with CUE™
What is blocking the behaviour?
- Capability: do people believe they can do it?
- Uncertainty: does it feel safe and predictable enough to try?
- Expectations: what does previous experience tell them will happen?
- Step 2
Intervene through SURE™
How do we make a different behaviour possible?
- Safety: enough safety to explore rather than defend.
- Understanding: a clearer sense of what is happening and why.
- Reframing: a more useful read of the situation.
- Experience: a chance to practise the new behaviour for real.
- Step 3
Measure what moved
Did readiness, capability, behaviour and the return actually move?
- Psychological safety and readiness
- Skills and confidence
- Behaviour and goals
- Business outcomes and ROI: project success, absence, conflict, adoption, innovation
Knowing matters. Doing changes things.
Tell us what you are seeing. We will help identify what may be getting in the way.
